I am a T4 paraplegic who started training with the RT2 (the precursor to the PrO2) in around 2005. I stopped training for around 15 years. When I started training again in 2023 with PrO2, I was amazed that a lot of the muscle strength was still there. There were still gains to be made, but it showed that PrO2 training provides fundamental and long-term benefits.
